Hiya, welcome to my corner in the web. My name is Deepu Mohan Puthrote and I'm very glad that you are here.
Born and brought up in Kozhikode a.k.a Calicut, in Keralam, the most beautiful place on earth. Have a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Calicut, and Masters in E-Business Information Systems from Newcastle University upon Tyne.
What do I do?
I work as a Software Engineer at Collective and I mainly work on the Java platform. I also like experimenting with other web related technologies like PHP, Ruby on Rails and Python. I am good in Javascript, jQuery, html and css. Also runs a niche website in wordpress - The Lace Curtains. In my free time I contribute to Wikipedia. Lately I have been doing some stuffs in github and jsfiddle - both are good and handy. People like John Resig, Eric Steven Raymond, Martin Fowler have inspired me. Lately I have developed an interest in Big Data analysis and its possible applications in e-business.

I don't play sports that much, but like and have tried adventure sports like Skydiving and rock climbing. Also got a chance to try out fencing, golf and ice skating. That was a great experience I had during my days in the Geordie land.
I have great respect for art and creativity, whether it is music, painting, movie or even graffiti. Beautiful things attracts and distracts me.
